The East Polk Heritage Center serves the cities of Erskine, Fosston, Lengby, McIntosh, Winger and the “Original 13 Townships” of East Polk County. In 1986, our founding members envisioned a museum that would honor those who settled in this area in the late 1800’s and maintain the artifacts, memorabilia, photographs and stories of our heritage.

Pioneer Cabin - built in 1996 to replicate the style of early settlers cabin.
We welcome visitors to our Heritage Center! Our museum campus, located in Melland Park, has four historic buildings that are filled with artifacts and memorabiia from the past. During the winter months, the L.W. Larson House is open for tours. Our two cabins and schoolhouse are open during summer months. We will try to accommodate special requests for visits on days we are not open to the public. We look forward to seeing you.
