WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF SHIBORI 

“Out of the blue” an unexpected work of art is created. We will spend three and a half hours connecting with an ancient art form began in Japan. Traditional for SHIBORI is use of indigo dye which is organic (extracted from the leaves of the indigo plant)  

I will be able to show you how to mix a simple vat that is environmentally safe. I will have all the supplies needed. Vat bucket, stir stick, rubber gloves, a variety of objects for resistance dying. And will share my enthusiasm for this art form that I am hoping will become addictive for you as well.   

You will be amazed at the variety of designs and just like watching fireworks exploding in the sky we will be sharing ooze and awes as we reveal our individual creations.
